Several members of the Purchase Fire Department boarded the Snow Goose 2, harbored on the Byram River in Port Chester, for a Saturday afternoon of fun and fishing. Captain Kevin Reynolds toured up and down the Connecticut coastline, stopping at the best spots for fluke fishing.
A few sea robins and about six fluke were caught. The only fluke of keeper size was caught by Todd Hannon. Mate Steve filleted the fish, which reports say was cooked to perfection after returning.
Thanks to Ira Berliner and the Entertainment Committee for organizing a great outing!
