Earlier this morning, Purchase FD, along with an engine from West Harrison, was dispatched to Purchase Elementry School for a heavy smoke condition in the kitchen. While en route, 2412 requested a ladder from Port Chester to the scene. Crews were met with a moderate smoke condition in the kitchen and after investigating, found a fire in a commercial refrigerator. Crews extinguished the fire without incident and isolated the appliance.
