Overnight, at 01:48 AM, the Purchase FD, Harrison FD (1 Engine), Port Chester (1 Rescue) & Harrison EMS were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with extrication on the Hutchinson River Parkway. Units arrived on-scene to find a multi-vehicle accident with one vehicle on its side and an occupant trapped inside. Units worked together to extricate the trapped occupant who was later transported to a local hospital by Harrison EMS. Units returned to service just after 3am.
