The month of October proved to be one of the busiest months of 2024 for the Purchase Fire Department as we responded to 73 calls of service. So far in 2024, the Purchase Fire Department has responded to 670 alarms. Below is a breakdown of Fire Department Activity for the month of October.

Responses:

• (16) Auto/Mutual Aid Requests to our neighboring departments
• (10) Motor Vehicle Accidents
• (8) Highway Incidents
• (6) Structural Related Fires (STRU’s)
• (3) EMS Assists
• (1) MVA with Extrication

Training:

• Firefighter Assist & Search Team
• DRM Elevator Class
• Auto Extrication
• Driver Qualification
• Pump Operations
• Ladder Co. Operations

Department News:

• Held our 2024 Annual Inspection
• Presented Fire Prevention programs to 7 schools in the district
• Attended numerous Community Events
